- Pre-Medicare Group Plan: Effective Dec. 31, 2021, OPERS will no longer be offering the pre-Medicare group plan.
- OPERS Pre-Medicare HRA Beginning January 1, 2022: If you’re an eligible pre-Medicare retiree, effective Jan. 1, 2022, you’ll receive the monthly Health Reimbursement Arrangement allowance.
- Premiums: With the HRA, you’ll no longer pay a medical premium through OPERS. Your monthly benefit amount will increase by the amount currently deducted for that premium.
