Getting Started With Medicare – Medicare Wooster, OH
Medicare Wooster, OH
1) When to Sign Up
Generally, you're first eligible to sign up for Part A and Part B starting 3 months before you turn 65 and ending 3 months after the month you turn 65.
2) Your Coverage Options
Once you've signed up for Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance), you can choose which way you get your health coverage. A licensed Medicare agent can help make sure you get coverage that's the right fit for your needs.
3) How to Sign Up
When you apply for retirement or disability benefits from Social Security (or the Railroad Retirement Board), it also serves as your application for Medicare. If the above doesn't apply at least 4 months before you turn 65 you'll need to sign up manually. A licensed Medicare agent can help with additional coverage you may need for what basic Medicare doesn't cover.
I'm a licensed Medicare agent in Wooster and I can help you sign up and get affordable coverage that fits your needs.
